2023 18FT Suntracker DLX Luxury Party Barge w/75 hp 4 stroke Mercury Outboard that Seats 9. Also comes with Bimini top.
GAS/SECURITY DEPOSIT:
There is a $300 security/gas deposit required for all rentals. Your security deposit will be authorized 48 hours before your trip. Boats that are returned with a full tank and undamaged will be refunded the full $300. For those boats returned with a below full tank, missing equipment, or any damage – renters will forfeit their deposit and be notified of any additional costs that will be added to their card.
OVERNIGHT & MULTI-DAY FEES:
There are no overnight rentals. The boat must be returned at the end of the day by 5pm because daily safety inspections are required for the vessel each and every morning. You may rent the boat for multiple days during the 9am and 5pm daily operating hours.
LATE RETURNS:
$25 Fee for every 15 minutes you arrive past your designated time. In order to provide the best customer service, we work hard to stay on schedule. Late returns cause delays for your master captain and often create issues at the boat ramps.
DAILY RENTAL:
All rentals are from pick up at 9am to drop off at 5pm Monday through Sunday.
PICK UP:
Will be at Black Bear Boat Launch at 9am on Lake James 6114 Lake James Road, Marion, NC
Once you arrive, call or text 828.559.1108 and let us know you have arrived.
DROP OFF:
Drop off is at the same location as pick up. You must have the boat back at the dock by 5pm but if you would like to be sooner please let the staff know ahead of time as everyday is scheduled down to the very minute. Please remember boat launches in the summer time can and will take time and have longer lines so think ahead and be prepared. Gas up ahead of time and call or text us when you are headed in so we get in line and get you out in an orderly fashion.
LIFE JACKETS:
Adult life jackets are available on each boat. If you are bringing boaters under the age of 13 we ask that you bring coast guard-approved life jackets designed for their age and size. We do have a limited number of children and infant life jackets available.
All boaters 13 and younger are required to have a life vest on while the boat is in motion. All boaters must wear a life vest when swimming from the boat. Wearing a life jacket when swimming and boating is always the safest option for boaters of all ages.
WHAT IS ABOARD THE VESSEL?:
The boat comes with (9) adult life jackets, anchor, mooring line, oars, whistle, GPS/Depth sounder/Fish finder, Bluetooth radio, fire extinguishers, boat fenders, swim platform and ladder.
BOAT LICENSE:
As stated above you must have a valid boating license if you were born in 1988 or later. You can take the course either at www.boatus.org/courses or www.ncwildlife.org You will need to print the license card and bring it with you.

CAN I TOW SKIERS/WAKEBOARDERS/TUBERS?:
No towing is permitted on the vessel.
CAN I PULL THE BOAT UP ON THE SHORE?:
No. You may only dock the boat at appropriately designated mooring facilities/marinas for the public on Lake James.
CAN I BRING MY PET ON THE VESSEL?:
No pets aboard the boat.

- $3000/hr during evening (7 PM – 7 AM)
- $150/hr Fuel Delivery – 5 gallons of gas delivered to your boat
